Supplier Performance Management System – a new initiative from ADNOC to unify the supplier performance

Effective July 1st 2020, ADNOC is executing a Unified Supplier Performance  Management System across ADNOC Group. The Unified Supplier Performance Management System will be based on the below mentioned:

• Pre-Awarded stage: where supplier’s approach in ADNOC Group tenders will be considered. (For example positive response and active participation in tenders).
• Post-award stage: where the focus will be on Supplier’s performance for the contract execution (including HSE, value, quality, and performance on other contractual obligations) and for materials delivery (including on time, defect free delivery).

ADNOC also stated, “With this initiative, suppliers will be measured against their performance objectives. Performance will be a prime consideration for ongoing and future business opportunities across ADNOC Group. In contrast, low performing suppliers will be at risk of having their ongoing agreements terminated, and shall not be eligible for bidders selection consideration in future tenders, unless they demonstrate improvement in their performance.”
