His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his accompanying delegation were welcomed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi who led a number of senior officials in the Indian government including Dharmendra Pradhan, Indian Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, T. P. Seetharam Ambassador of India to the UAE, and the members of the diplomatic corps and military attache office in the UAE Embassy in New Delhi.
During his visit, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed is scheduled to hold official talks with the Indian Prime Minister pertaining to the promotion of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries. He is also due to meet with Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, and senior officials of the Indian government.
The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi is accompanied by a delegation comprising H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and H.H. Sheikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court.
The delegation also includes Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy and Saqr bin Ghobash Saeed Ghobash, Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation and Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State for International Cooperation, Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State, Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the National Security Council, Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority, Dr. Ahmed Abdul Rahman Al Banna, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to India, Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Major General Staff Pilot Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Commander of the UAE Air Force and Air Defence, and a number of senior state officials.
