Department of Energy's Electricity Wiring Regulation 2020 (Third Edition)
The new Electricity Wiring Regulation 2020, announced and published by Department of Energy, Abu Dhabi, UAE. These Regulations are issued by the DoE pursuant to the powers conferred to it under the Law and shall replace the previous regulations issued by the RSB, ADWEA or WED. The Department of Energy (DoE) is established in Abu Dhabi pursuant to Law No.11 of 2018 (the Law). Under that Law, the DoE is the successor entity of the Regulation and Supervision Bureau (RSB) and Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Authority (ADWEA). Accordingly, any references to the Regulation and Supervision Bureau, the Bureau, RSB, the Authority or ADWEA in any document, template or correspondence shall now be interpreted as referring to the DoE. The DoE’s role is to regulate the economic and technical activities of entities operating in the energy sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Download: The Electricity Wiring RegulationFurther Reading
