General Instructions
- Applicant, obtaining the eVisa before you travel to UAE is a must. eVisa will be sent to you through registered email address in the application once your application is approved only.
- “GCC Residents” or “GCC Citizen – Accompanies” application will not be approved for any family member or assistant categories if the sponsor is not travelling along with them.
- GCC Residents Entry Permit is valid for (30) days before entry from issuance date, and stay period after entry is (30) days from entry date, and it is extendable once for (30) days.
- GCC Accompanied Entry Permit is valid for (60) days before entry from issuance date, and stay period after entry is (60) days from entry date, and it is extendable once for (60) days.
- Upon arrival if GCC Residency is found to be expired or cancelled , entry permit holder will not be granted entry.
- If profession of GCC Resident is found to be changed after issuance of this entry permit , entry permit holder will not be granted entry.
- GCC Residency must be valid at least (3) months from arrival date.
- Passport must be valid at least (3) months from arrival date.
- please note that passport accompanies are not permitted to obtain a GCC entry permit, it is mandatory to have a separate valid passport
FAQ
How long will it take to issue GCC visa, and what time can I apply?
Usually the process of issuing visa since the creation of the application until the final decision takes between 24-48 hours, but there are other factors to be taken into consideration, so the processing time is subject to MOI procedure. Online applications may be submitted at any time during the 24 hours.
If my application has been rejected, can I refund the fees back?
Yes. But only the Issuance Fee (100 AED) can be refunded, while the remaining fee components (for example “Application Fee”) are non-refundable. Note that the system calculates the refund amount after deducting (10 AED) as a refund service fee. Please take into consideration that the period during which refunds can be requested is 60 days from the date of rejection. After this period, refund will not be available. The refund service can be done from the GCC portal.
Can I apply for GCC visa cancellation online?
No, currently there is no online service for cancelling the visa. Requesting cancelation can be checked in entry port or MOI. Cancellation service will be available soon in the web site and it will be subject to 50 AED fees and also the issue fees of the application which will be canceled will not refunded.
After applying for GCC visa, it has been rejected with mark (please separate the children)?
In this case you should apply create a GCC application for each child. Soon, the accompany field will be removed from the GCC Residents application form.
Application has been submitted and Abu Dhabi airport selected as the entry port, can I enter form another port?
NO, you can enter from the same port that you applied for.
Application is still under processing, but I am in hurry. Can I go directly to the entry port? And can I pass ?
You should make sure that visa has been processed and approved before you travel, soon Ports GCC visa will be not available, only the online visa will be considered.
My application has been submitted from two weeks back, but its status is still displayed as under processing what shall I do?
In such case you can contact MOI by email or by phone and you will get fast response about status, and note this will be subject to MOI procedure.
When I want to apply for GCC visa I can’t find wife as accompanying while I can find the children?
You should apply separate GCC application for wife. Note that family members can’t pass and enter without the sponsor.
My application has been approved but my children’s applications are still under processing?
You should wait till all the applied applications get processed.
Application status is being shown as processed, does this mean my application has been approved?
You should make sure that application hold status of Approved or Rejected. Please check the registered email for more clarification.
I’m getting reject mark of missing attachments while I did attach all the required documents?
You should make sure that if any other require documents not attached, and also make sure that all the attached copies are clear, colored and good quality of scan.
My passport will expire soon; can I apply for GCC visa?
No, you should have at least 6 month validity in passport.
My GCC Residency will expire soon; can I apply for GCC visa?
No, you should have at least 3 month validity in GCC Residency.
How I will receive the visa after it gets approved?
After visa got the approval, you should receive email with visa attached. You can also get a visa copy from GCC portal.
