UAE Energy Minister discusses closer cooperation with China, Norway

ABU DHABI (WAM): Suhail bin Mohammed Faraj Faris Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy, has received Ambassador of Norway, Jens Eikaas, and Ambassador of China, Chang Hua, to discuss ways of promoting cooperation on energy with their two countries, the Ministry of Energy said in a press release.
During his meeting with the Norwegian ambassador, Al Mazrouei stressed that the UAE takes interest in strengthening relations with the European country and supporting all projects that serve the common interests of both countries.
During his meeting with the Chinese ambassador, the energy minister noted that the UAE seeks to stabilise global markets and stressed that stronger relations with China are part of a strategy adopted by the UAE.
For his part, the Chinese ambassador praised the progress the UAE is making in all spheres.
He also stressed China's interest in promoting cooperation and relations with the UAE to serve the common interests of both countries.
